ὑστερέω hustĕrĕō, hoos-ter-eh'-o; from G5306; to be later, i.e. (by implication) to be inferior; generally, to fall short (be deficient):—come behind (short), be destitute, fail, lack, suffer need, (be in) want, be the worse.
The KJV translates Strong's G5302 in the following manner: lack (3x), be behind (2x), want (2x), come short (1x), be in want (1x), fail (1x), come behind (1x), be destitute (1x), miscellaneous (4x).
