2. to show by words and arguments, i. e.
to teach (for
הורָה,
2 Chronicles 15:3) (

τίνι, followed by an infinitive of the thing,
Matthew 3:7;
Luke 3:7; to teach by the use of a figure,
τίνι, followed by indirect discourse,
Luke 6:47;

to allow i. e. make known (future things), followed by indirect discourse
