ἀναδείκνυμι: 1 aorist ἀνέδειξα [imperative ἀνάδειξον; from Sophocles down]; to lift up anything on high and exhibit it for all to behold (German aufzeigen); hence, to show accurately, clearly, to disclose what was hidden (2 Macc. 2:8 cf. 6): Acts 1:24 (show which of these two thou hast chosen).
