About the Role


The Office Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of daily office operations, ensuring everything functions efficiently and that staff are well coordinated. Duties include supervising office services, managing facilities and suppliers, organising staff schedules, and making sure all company policies and regulations are followed.

This is a practical leadership role requiring strong multitasking, discretion, and planning skills. The successful candidate will help the organisation grow while providing reliable support across all business areas. The job is full-time and in-person, Monday to Friday, with pay ranging from $10–$20 per hour depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities


- Manage and coordinate daily office operations and procedures
- Organise correspondence, filing, and office documentation
- Plan and implement office systems, layouts, and equipment purchases
- Recruit, onboard, and orient new office staff
- Monitor staff schedules, attendance, and leave
- Oversee facilities management, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
- Manage office budgets and control costs
- Provide front-desk and general administrative support to visitors and colleagues

Requirements


- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related subject
- Previous experience in office management or administration
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confident with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Able to manage several projects at once
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
