SEM'I-METAL, n. [semi and metal.] An imperfect metal, or rather a metal that is not malleable,

as bismuth, arsenic, nickel, cobalt, zinc, antimony, maganese, tungsten, molybden, and uranite. The name however is usually given to the regulus of these substances.
