καλλιέλαιος [cf. Aristotle, plant. 1, 6]), also called by the Greeks
κότινος,
Romans 11:24; cf. Fritzsche on Romans, vol. ii. 495ff [See
B. D. under the word Olive, and
Tristram, Nat. Hist. of the Bible, under the word Olive. The latter says, p. 377, 'the wild olive must not be confounded with the Oleaster or Oil-tree'.]
