¹ ⓐ “Let not your hearts be troubled.ⓑ Believe in God;[1] believe also in me.

² Inⓒ my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you thatⓓ I go to prepare a place for you?[2]

³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take youⓔ to myself, thatⓕ where I am you may be also.

⁴ And you know the way to where I am going.”[3]

⁵ ⓖ Thomas said to him, “Lord,ⓗ we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

⁶ Jesus said to him, “I amⓘ the way, andⓙ the truth, andⓚ the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

⁷ ⓛ If you had known me, you would haveⓜ known my Father also.[4] From now on you do know him andⓝ have seen him.”

⁸ ⓞ Philip said to him, “Lord,ⓟ show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”

⁹ Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip?ⓠ Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

¹⁰ Do you not believe thatⓡ I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to youⓢ I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.

¹¹ Believe me thatⓣ I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or elseⓤ believe on account of the works themselves.

¹² “Truly, truly, I say to you,ⓥ whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because Iⓦ am going to the Father.

¹³ ⓧ Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, thatⓨ the Father may be glorified in the Son.

¹⁴ ⓩ If you ask me[5] anything in my name, I will do it.

¹⁵ ⓐ “If you love me, you willⓑ keep my commandments.

¹⁶ And I will ask the Father, and he will give you anotherⓒ Helper,[6] to be with you forever,

¹⁷ evenⓓ the Spirit of truth,ⓔ whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you andⓕ will be[7] in you.

¹⁸ “I will not leave you as orphans;ⓖ I will come to you.

¹⁹ ⓗ Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, butⓘ you will see me.ⓙ Because I live, you also will live.

²⁰ ⓚ In that day you will know thatⓛ I am in my Father, andⓜ you in me, andⓝ I in you.

²¹ ⓞ Whoever has my commandments andⓟ keeps them, he it is who loves me. Andⓠ he who loves meⓡ will be loved by my Father, and I will love him andⓢ manifest myself to him.”

²² ⓣ Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is itⓤ that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?”

²³ Jesus answered him, ⓥ “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, andⓦ we will come to him andⓧ make our home with him.

²⁴ Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. Andⓨ the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.

²⁵ “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you.

²⁶ But theⓩ Helper, the Holy Spirit,ⓐ whom the Father will send in my name,ⓑ he will teach you all things andⓒ bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

²⁷ ⓓ Peace I leave with you;ⓔ my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.ⓕ Let not your hearts be troubled, neitherⓖ let them be afraid.

²⁸ ⓗ You heard me say to you,ⓘ ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because Iⓙ am going to the Father, forⓚ the Father is greater than I.

²⁹ Andⓛ now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe.

³⁰ I will no longer talk much with you, forⓜ the ruler of this world is coming.ⓝ He has no claim on me,

³¹ but I doⓞ as the Father has commanded me,ⓟ so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.
