¹ Let my supplication come before You; Deliver me according to Your word.

² Let my lips speak praise [with thanksgiving], For You teach me Your statutes.

³ Let my tongue sing [praise for the fulfillment] of Your word, For all Your commandments are righteous.

⁴ Let Your hand be ready to help me, For I have chosen Your precepts.

⁵ I long for Your salvation, O LORD, And Your law is my delight.

⁶ Let my soul live that it may praise You, And let Your ordinances help me.

⁷ I have gone astray like a lost sheep; Seek Your servant, for I do not forget Your commandments.

⁸ A Song of[1] Ascents. In my trouble I cried to the LORD, And He answered me.

⁹ Rescue my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, And from a deceitful tongue.

¹⁰ What shall be given to you, and what more shall be done to you, You deceitful tongue?—
